Cheesy Pull-Apart Hasselback Rolls

Cheesy Gluten-Free Garlic Bread

This gluten-free garlic bread is so simple to make using gluten-free french bread, or gluten-free dinner rolls. You'll create slits into the bread, and spread with a butter, garlic, and herb mixture. Add cheese if you'd like, too!
Author: Amanda Paa
Yield: 6 servings
Prep Time :10 minutes
Cook Time :12 minutes
Total Time :20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons room temperature butter, cut into large cubes
  • 1/3 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/3 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons minced parsley or chives
  • 2 teaspoons minced rosemary or thyme
  • 1 package thawed Udi's French bread or Gluten Free French Dinner Rolls
  • 1/2 cup extra cheese for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Put butter, cheeses, garlic powder, salt, and herbs into a food processor. Process until all comes together and is spreadable. You can also mix this in a bowl if you butter is soft enough, rather than using a food processor. Cut 5 slits in each dinner roll with a bread knife, without going through the bottom. Stop short so the rolls still are one piece.
  • Slather butter into each slit. Do with all rolls, then put on parchment lined paper. Top with additional cheese, lightly pressing down to stick.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbling. Serve warm.
